Food, first aid kits, and sleeping bags as humanitarian cargo for Bakhmut

The Council of Ukrainian Muslims once again sent humanitarian aid to the front line.

Activists of the Lviv Islamic Cultural Center named after Muhammad Asad collected food, medicines, sleeping bags, and trench candles. This time, a car with humanitarian aid arrived in the city of Bakhmut in the Donetsk Oblast.

Volunteers also brought 40 food sets, each containing pasta, flour, rice, oatmeal, halal canned stew, butter, tea, etc.  10 first-aid kits with the most necessary medicines were also handed over.

Activists sent to Bakhmut 15 sleeping bags for military personnel, and several dozen trench candles made by activists of the social organization “IRADA”.

As the action coordinator Amin Al-Qasim stated, this help is for those who are most in need of medicines and medical supplies:

“Each first-aid kit contains 24 essential medicines: painkillers, antibiotics, adsorbents, antipyretics, various ointments, etc.”

According to him, despite all difficulties, the Council of Ukrainian Muslims, together with caring people and other volunteer organizations, continues its activities in this path:

“For a year now (since the beginning of the large-scale invasion of the Russian Federation. — Ed.) we have focused mainly on humanitarian aid.  I would like to express my gratitude to all caring volunteers and organizations that support charitable projects, helping men on the front lines.”
