200 food kits in Kyiv — the Council of Ukrainian Muslims continues to help the needy

Another distribution of food kits for the in need took place in the Islamic Cultural Center of Kyiv. The action was organized by the Council of Ukrainian Muslims with the support of the German charity MuslimeHelfen.

Islamic Cultural Center activists delivered 200 kits. Each kit includes flour, sugar, pasta, oil, tea and other necessities. Low-income families, lonely elderly people and emigrants received aid.

According to Ismail Kady, the director of the Islamic Cultural Center, such charitable actions should primarily help the most vulnerable groups:

“Actions organized on the initiative of the Council of Ukrainian Muslims have been taking place for many years, even several times a year. By the will of the Almighty, this weekend we formed and distributed 200 large kits. Each traditionally includes long-term storage products. I am glad that hundreds of families received this aid.”
