Another distribution of food aids for the in need took place in the Islamic Cultural Center of Kyiv. The action was organized by the Council of Ukrainian Muslims (CMU) with the support of the German charity MuslimeHelfen. Thanks to the help of fellow believers from Germany, it was possible to complete 400 sets. Each included flour, sugar, pasta, oil, tea and other products.

The campaign was also supported by the local Muslim community: more than 150 sets were collected thanks to the donations of Ukrainian Muslims. As always, products were distributed to the in need: lonely elderly people, large families, the low-income families and orphans.

According to the President of the CMU Seyran Aryfov, support of the most vulnerable groups is one of the permanent directions of the organization's activities:

"The war and the deterioration of the economic situation in the country affected the situation of people, in particular the Muslim community of Ukraine. So the Council of Ukrainian Muslims is trying to do everything it can to support those who need it the most."

"This is the second distribution of products since the beginning of the war that we managed to organize together with MuslimeHelfen.” Ismail Qazi said, the director of the Islamic Cultural Center of Kyiv. "We are grateful to our German friends for their constant support and long-term cooperation, and especially for the fact that they did not give up on the implementation of such projects in Ukraine despite the difficulties associated with martial law".

Ismail Kady added that distribution of food aids within the initiative will take place in other cities of the country soon:

"We plan to distribute products in the Kyiv region, Lviv, Odesa, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro and Kamianse of the Dnipropetrovsk region. And, of course, we hope that with the support of patrons we will be able to continue helping the in need".
